Crownews.net will change and grow

A new voice in Crow journalism should rise on this website in 2012. The Communication Arts Department of Little Big Horn College in Crow Agency took responsibility this week for the maintenance and development of this website.
An expanded site is growing and should be operating in the fall of 2012, produced by members of the Crow community. Crownews.net is developing institutional support to strengthen our great plans.
Many committed local people, students and professional journalists have contributed to and edited crownews.net since the website was new. Since 2009, Crownews.net has received only irregular updates. Before 2009, website news depended on local journalists from Crow and Hardin working with student interns from the University of Montana. The website began in 2007 as a project of New Voices, a program from American University and the Knight Foundation to seed community news ventures in the United States.
